The U.S. Vice President commented on the operation in Iran.
U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance, speaking on the podcast "Benny Show" in response to a question about rising gasoline prices due to the war with Iran, stated that the U.S. has "accomplished the overwhelming majority of its military objectives" and one could even argue that the goals have already been achieved.
The President intends to continue fighting for some time to ensure that "once we finish, we won’t have to come back to this for a very, very long time," Vance said. This was a rare acknowledgment that U.S. military successes may not be permanent.
"This country threatens us in every possible way. They are still trying to develop nuclear weapons. We need to neutralize their capabilities for a very long time, and that is the goal," he added.
