"The yellowcake production plant [uranium ore concentrate] in Ardakan, Yazd province, became the target of American-Israeli forces," the statement said.
According to preliminary data, there was no release of radioactive elements as a result of the strike.
Earlier, the United States and Israel struck a nuclear facility with a heavy water reactor in Khondab, Iran. It is noted that the attacks did not result in casualties, and given the preemptive safety measures, there is no threat to the local population.
