Former Minister of Defense Andris Spruds ('Progressives') will work in the Saeima's National Security Commission and in the Commission on Defense, Internal Affairs, and Corruption Prevention. This decision was made by the parliamentarians on Thursday.
At the same time, the Saeima decided to withdraw Liene Gatere ('Progressives') from the Commission on Defense, Internal Affairs, and Corruption Prevention, and Antonina Nenasheva from the National Security Commission.
Nenasheva ('Progressives') was elected by the Saeima to the Commission on Citizenship, Migration, and Social Cohesion, while Gatere was appointed to the Legal Commission.
