Iran is no longer capable of enriching uranium or producing ballistic missiles after nearly three weeks of war, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told reporters in Jerusalem on Thursday, LETA reported, citing DPA.
"Iran is weaker than ever," Netanyahu said, as reported by the 'Times of Israel'. The Prime Minister, however, added that attacks on Iran will continue "for as long as necessary."
Netanyahu reaffirmed the goals of the military campaign initiated by Israel and the U.S., stating that the objective is to eliminate the threats posed by Iran's nuclear ambitions and its ballistic missiles.
This will create conditions for the people of Iran to gain the freedom to "shape their own destiny," Netanyahu noted.
Speaking about the attack carried out by Israel the day before on the 'South Pars' gas field in Iran, Netanyahu stated: "Fact #1: Israel acted against this gas complex independently. Fact #2: President [Donald] Trump asked us to refrain from further attacks. And we are refraining."
