The air defense systems of the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait repelled missile attacks from Iran on Friday morning, while Saudi Arabia intercepted Iranian drones, LETA reported citing AFP.

The Bahraini Ministry of Interior reported that debris from "Iranian aggression" caused a fire at a warehouse, but it was contained and no one was injured.

Earlier, the ministry reported the activation of air raid sirens.

The Kuwaiti army stated that air defense systems "are responding to hostile missile and drone threats," while the UAE Ministry of Interior reported a "missile threat."

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense announced that within just over an hour, its forces "intercepted and destroyed" six drones in the eastern part of the country and one more in the north.

Amid increasing Iranian attacks on the Gulf's energy infrastructure, drones struck a Saudi Arabian oil refinery near the Red Sea on Thursday, causing fires at two oil processing facilities in Kuwait.

Iranian strikes on Wednesday evening caused significant damage to the world's largest gas industrial center in Qatar. This occurred after Israel bombed Iranian gas industry facilities in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday.
