The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it has begun a 'broad wave of strikes' on targets of the Iranian regime in Tehran, LETA reported citing DPA.
The army also reported the beginning of an additional wave of strikes on the infrastructure of the Iran-backed group 'Hezbollah' in Beirut.
Israel reported in the morning that it had detected rockets launched from Iran towards Israeli territory.
Israel and the United States began strikes on Iran on February 28. As a result of missile strikes and air raids, many cities in Iran were affected, including the capital Tehran. Iran launched retaliatory strikes against Israel and targets in the Persian Gulf region.
The conflict between the Lebanese Shiite group 'Hezbollah' and Israel has also resumed with new intensity.
