Flights at Dubai Airport in the United Arab Emirates have been temporarily delayed after a "drone-related incident" caused a fire near the airport, authorities reported on Monday, LETA writes, citing AFP.
The incident involved a fuel tank, the Dubai media office reported, later adding that the fire has been extinguished.
There are no reports of injuries.
"The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority reports that flights at Dubai International Airport are temporarily delayed as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all passengers and staff," the Dubai media office stated on the platform 'X'.
On February 28, Israel and the United States began a war against Iran, which in turn launched retaliatory strikes against Israel and countries in the Persian Gulf where U.S. military facilities are located, including the UAE.
