The expert provided interesting data on mutual trade.
Latvia does not occupy the last places in the EU in all rankings. An expert from the Latvian Confederation of Employers, Janis Hermanis, presented graphs of mutual trade between EU countries and Russia - as a percentage of GDP. In this regard, Latvia confidently takes the first place in exports to Russia, with 1.93% of GDP last year. Slovenia is in second place with 1.85% of GDP. Estonia and Lithuania occupy the third and fourth places, respectively. In terms of imports, Slovakia holds the top position, but Latvia is not far behind, ranking sixth, ahead of Lithuania and Estonia.
