Iran launched new strikes against Israel and Gulf countries

Iranian armed forces launched new missile and drone strikes against Israel and several Gulf countries on Wednesday night, LETA reported, citing DPA and AFP.

The Iranian news agency "Tasnim," close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, characterized these strikes as the "most intense and severe" wave of attacks since the beginning of the war.

The Iranian government stated that it launched missiles at Israeli cities over the course of three hours.

In Israel, the missiles were either intercepted or fell in uninhabited areas, reported "The Times of Israel."

AFP journalists heard air raid sirens and explosions in Jerusalem. Israeli media "Channel 12" reported that several people were injured in Tel Aviv.

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense stated that seven ballistic missiles and seven drones were intercepted in various parts of the country. Two of these drones were headed towards an oil field.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that four drones were intercepted in the country, and another one fell in open terrain.

Air raid sirens also sounded in Bahrain.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that it also shelled Iraqi Kurdistan.
