Operations at the UAE's largest oil refinery in Ruwais were completely halted following a drone attack on Tuesday, March 10.
According to Bloomberg, the drone strike triggered a fire in the area adjacent to the facility.
The state-owned company ADNOC is assessing the damage caused.
It is worth noting that the Ruwais refinery is one of the largest in the world, with a production capacity of 922,000 barrels per day, and the shutdown of the facility could significantly impact the energy market.
