Drone Strike on Cyprus Base Hit Hangar with Ultra-Secret US Spy Planes 0 12

A drone strike on a British airbase in Cyprus hit a hangar containing ultra-secret US reconnaissance planes. This was reported by The Sun.

UK Defense Secretary John Healey stated that the strike on the airbase was "minor," however, a photograph obtained by the publication shows a gaping 9-meter hole in the wall of the hangar where US U-2 planes are housed.

After receiving the photographs, the UK Ministry of Defense acknowledged that the hangar had been attacked, but representatives of the department continued to insist that the damage was minimal.

On March 2, a powerful explosion was heard at the British base in Cyprus. It was about the "Akrotiri" facility in the city of Limassol. It later became clear that the British base had been struck by drones.
