The head of Pakistan's Foreign Ministry urged Iran not to attack Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan has urged Iran to refrain from military actions against Saudi Arabia. This was stated by Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, as reported by Ary News.

"The Deputy Prime Minister stated that there is a defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Pakistan contacted Iran and requested it not to attack Saudi Arabia," the statement said.

According to the head of the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Iran, in turn, demanded guarantees that the territory of Saudi Arabia would not be used against it.

It is reported that at Pakistan's request, Riyadh provided the necessary guarantees.

Earlier, it became known that Israel is confident that Saudi Arabia will join in strikes against Iran. "We have no doubt that Saudi Arabia will soon attack Iran after it was attacked yesterday," the portal quoted an unnamed senior official.
