The Al Alam TV channel noted on its social media page that Khamenei's wife passed away a few days later due to injuries sustained from the attack by Israel and the United States.
On the night of Sunday, March 1, Iran officially confirmed Khamenei's death — Americans and Israelis eliminated him in the early hours of the war that had begun. It is reported that at the time of the missile attack, the Supreme Leader was performing his official duties.
