On Saturday, Iranian missiles hit at least two buildings in Israel near Tel Aviv, reports the Israeli online publication 'Ynet', citing LETA referring to DPA.
A missile struck a house in Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv. There are currently no reports of injuries in Bnei Brak.
The strike also hit a house in Rosh HaAyin, located further east.
The Israeli emergency medical service reported that its personnel are heading to the sites of the missile impacts. So far, there are no reports of fatalities.
It was reported that Iran launched missiles and drones towards Israel in response to Israeli strikes on Saturday.
Explosions were heard in Jerusalem and in the north of the country.
After intercepting Iranian missiles in northern Israel, a nine-story building was damaged, and one person sustained minor injuries, according to Channel 12 of Israel.
The injured individual was hit by shrapnel from an intercepting missile, the broadcaster noted. One apartment sustained significant damage.
A 50-year-old man was injured, reported the Israeli emergency medical service.
Earlier, the Israeli army stated that it was deploying air defense systems to intercept Iranian missiles.
It was reported that on Saturday, Israel and the United States struck Iran, resulting in missile attacks that affected both the capital Tehran and other cities.
Iran retaliated with strikes against Israel, as well as against U.S. military facilities in Bahrain and other countries in the Persian Gulf.
