The third round of trilateral negotiations between Ukraine, the USA, and Russia has concluded in Geneva, reported the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, according to LETA citing UKRAINSKA PRAVDA.

He added that the negotiations, which began on Tuesday, continued for about two hours on Wednesday, acknowledging that they were difficult but businesslike.

Medinsky also reported that the next round of negotiations will take place soon.

As reported, the third round of trilateral negotiations started in Geneva on Tuesday and continues today. The previous two rounds took place in January and early February in Abu Dhabi.

The negotiations are organized into thematic groups, one of which is dedicated to political issues, while the other focuses on military matters, Umerov noted.

"We are working on clarifying the parameters and mechanics of the decisions discussed yesterday. We are set for substantive work. We will report on the results later," stated the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

Washington is represented in the negotiations by the special envoy of U.S. President Donald Trump, Stephen Witkoff, and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. The Russian delegation is headed by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
