Interesting ideas are being discussed in the corridors of the Munich Security Conference.
A correspondent for the Latvian TV program "Panorāma" announced an interesting initiative that is being discussed at the annual Munich Security Conference, which began today. Specifically, Ukraine may be swiftly accepted into the EU, but without the right to vote. Commenting on this prospect, European Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis indicated that this is merely one of the ideas and that there is currently no concrete information on this matter.
As is known, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Brussels to specify a concrete date for when Ukraine could be accepted into the EU. However, even here, the EU cannot provide any answers yet, as consultations on this issue within the EU have not even begun.
