NATO's Plans in Greenland Revealed 0 6

A reconnaissance mission led by Denmark in Greenland is set to assess the feasibility of deploying Eurofighter jets on the island. This was reported by Reuters.

"The aim is to evaluate how secure the Arctic is and to what extent we can contribute to ensuring security together with our NATO partners," noted a representative of the German Ministry of Defense.

The possibility of conducting exercises using P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, as well as deploying frigates and other naval forces for surveillance, is also being considered.

It was previously reported that NATO countries intend to send more than 30 military personnel at Denmark's request to protect Greenland from the United States.
