The Times: Britain is preparing special forces for the capture of tankers from Russia's "shadow fleet".
The United Kingdom is training special forces personnel to seize tankers from the shadow fleet, reports The Times citing a source in the defense sector.
According to the publication, the operation will most likely be carried out by the Special Boat Service — an elite unit of the Royal Navy.
Previously, the United Kingdom introduced the "Atlantic Bastion" program, aimed at combating "underwater threats from Russia" in the North Atlantic.
