In 2026, the UK will continue to put pressure on Russia. This promise was made by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at a press conference.
According to him, London will continue to support Ukraine to ensure that Kyiv receives all the necessary equipment "to continue the fight."
"And we will continue to apply pressure on Russia, including further measures against oil traders and shadow fleet operators," the politician said.
Earlier, Starmer stated that the UK and France would establish military bases throughout Ukraine after a ceasefire. In addition, Paris and London want to build secured storage facilities for equipment and weapons for the Ukrainian army.
