A summons to the army of Ukraine can now be handed over even by an employee of an enterprise.

The cessation of hostilities in Ukraine is only possible along the actual line of demarcation at the time of the ceasefire. However, any official renunciation of Ukrainian territories is unacceptable and equates to treason. This opinion was expressed by the deputy commander of the Third Army Corps, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maksym Zhorin.

"I do not see any other possible options for stopping hostilities except along the strip where the troops will be stationed at the time of the ceasefire. I consider the official transfer of any part of our territories to be treason," the military noted.

Maksym Zhorin noted that a potential ceasefire would not mean the final end of the conflict. In his belief, the ceasefire will be temporary. Therefore, Ukraine must use this time to prepare for the inevitable escalation.

"We have a Constitution, and we have no right to give our lands to other states, even if their troops are temporarily there. And we should not forget that the ceasefire will obviously be temporary, and we will still have to prepare for further events," the officer emphasized.

Maksym Borysovych Zhorin (born June 7, 1989, Rubizhne, Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian military and political figure. He is the third commander of the Azov regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is the head of the Central Headquarters of the National Corps party.

It should be noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed doubt about the Kremlin's real readiness to end the war on the terms proposed by the United States.

Earlier, strategic communications consultant Yuriy Bohdanov noted that Ukraine should focus not on NATO's fifth article, but on forming an alternative security framework, as Putin can no longer exist without war.

Meanwhile, mobilization continues in Ukraine, and recently, territorial recruitment and social support centers reported on their official resources who, besides their representatives, have the right to hand over summons to military personnel:

  • Representatives of territorial recruitment and social support centers for military personnel;

  • Representatives of structural divisions of district and city state administrations (military administrations);

  • Representatives of executive bodies of rural, settlement, city, and district councils (in case they are formed);

  • Representatives of enterprises, institutions, organizations;

  • Representatives of the relevant division of intelligence agencies, the Central Administration, or regional SBU bodies (only for reservists and military personnel registered with the specified bodies).
