Ceasefire Announced Between Russia and Ukraine in One Area 0 8

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, announced a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the area of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). The announcement was published on the agency's page on X.

"Director General Grossi thanks both sides for agreeing to this new temporary 'silence period' aimed at restoring electricity transmission," the publication emphasizes.

Grossi reported the commencement of "crucial" repair work on the power lines supplying the ZNPP following the establishment of a local ceasefire regime. According to the IAEA Director General, the restoration work will last for several days.
