Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Wednesday that no agreement has been reached in negotiations between the U.S. and Ukraine regarding the cessation of the war initiated by Russia, and long-term territorial issues require discussion at the highest level, LETA reports citing AFP.

"We have not reached a consensus with the American side on the issue of the territory of the Donetsk region and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant," Zelensky acknowledged, adding that Kyiv is ready to discuss these issues with the U.S. "at the leaders' level." He reported that the latest version of the U.S. peace plan, conveyed by Washington to Moscow, envisions freezing the front line and initiating negotiations on demilitarized zones. The 20-point plan also stipulates that the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant will be under joint management of Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S., which is unacceptable for Kyiv. The President of Ukraine expressed hope that Russia would provide a response to the latest version of the peace plan by Wednesday.
