The contingent will be stationed behind the front line of the UAF.

The United Kingdom has prepared a plan to send troops to Ukraine as part of the so-called 'Coalition of the Willing' after a ceasefire agreement is reached. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing the country's Defense Minister John Healey.

'We have conducted reconnaissance in Ukraine, so we know which units to use, how to deploy them, and what roles they will play,' Healey said.

The head of the military department also added that London has been training Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) personnel in Britain since the beginning of the conflict. Now, the kingdom wants to be able to train troops directly in Ukraine. The personnel will be stationed away from the front line, the minister assured.

Agency analysts claim that the UK is ready to spend over 100 million pounds sterling on the implementation of the first phase of this plan.

The new peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump could serve as the basis for a final settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting for the first time on the American initiative during a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.
