Ukraine is faced with a choice between 28 points of a plan proposed by the U.S. administration and a harsh winter. This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his address to the citizens of the country, which he published on his Telegram channel.
"Ukraine may find itself facing a very difficult choice: either a loss of dignity or the risk of losing a key partner. Either the complex 28 points or an extremely harsh winter, the harshest, and the subsequent risks," he stated.
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine's national interest in the proposed peace plan must be taken into account. Kyiv will work on this together with the U.S. and the European Union (EU).
