Until now, only the United States had aircraft carriers with a similar electromagnetic launch system.
According to media reports, Xi Jinping personally ordered the implementation of this technology on the Chinese aircraft carrier.
Thanks to this, 'Fujian' significantly surpasses the combat power of the other two Chinese aircraft carriers — 'Liaoning' and 'Shandong', which were built according to Soviet designs.

The launch of 'Fujian' marks a significant step for Beijing, which already possesses the largest naval fleet in the world by the number of ships.
The commissioning ceremony took place in Hainan province last Wednesday. Chairman Xi Jinping personally inspected the deck and received a report on the progress of sea trials.
He then addressed the sailors lined up on the deck and at the pier.
"Follow the party's orders, fight for victory, and uphold the glorious traditions!" the sailors shouted in response.
Analysts note that under Xi Jinping, China is increasing its naval forces at an unprecedented pace, which intensifies pressure on the United States and its allies, who are forced to respond to China's growing influence in the Pacific region.
