Europeans are blamed for mobilization activities.
The Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin (71), spoke about the preparation of European members of the North Atlantic Alliance for war with Russia.
"We certainly see the preparations of European NATO allies for war with our country. The task has been set to quickly provide all necessary resources for the NATO Allied Response Forces designated for this purpose," said the head of the SVR.
According to Naryshkin, Europe, accustomed to living under the occupation of the United States after World War II, cannot adapt to the changing international realities. He stated that there is a "pessimism" prevailing in the foreign ministries of European states, which is related to the lack of medium- and long-term recipes for maintaining security in the European Union countries.
In addition, Naryshkin claims that a process has been launched to increase the production volumes of the European military-industrial complex, and the mobilization activities and "zombification" of the population through propaganda about the inevitable aggression from Russia have been put on a regular basis.
It is worth noting that after his speech at the meeting of the Security Council of Russia regarding the recognition of the DPR and LPR on February 21, 2022, Naryshkin attracted widespread attention from the world press for noticeably trembling and "awkwardly stuttering" when Putin publicly reprimanded him for his "awkward" response to the president's question about the recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin pointed out that the West intends to rearm under the pretext of Moscow's alleged aggressiveness. "Well, let them arm themselves, let's see the structure of these expenditures, the structure of these weapons," said the Russian leader. According to him, Moscow considers the reference to its aggressiveness absolutely unfounded, as the collective West itself is aggressive. The president concluded that the "one-sided game" is over.
Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonsson called on the West to enter a "war mode" both morally and practically. According to him, this is necessary "to maintain peace."
Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov responded to Jonsson, stating that he does not know what war is, as he has only seen it on television and in fictional contexts. "For him, war is bombings of distant countries — Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Syria — from where nothing comes to NATO countries," Pushkov stated.
"This is not virtual military games for him, which he still plays while sitting in the warm toilet of his home in Stockholm, which has never been bombed in history."
