Masked riders on horseback attacked pensioners in the Russian city of Kislovodsk.
Masked riders on horseback attacked pensioners in Kislovodsk who had made a remark to them. This was reported by the mayor of the Russian city, Evgeny Moiseev, on his Telegram channel.
He noted that the incident occurred the night before. A couple of riders approached the Old Lake. The elderly people present expressed their complaints. They explained that riding horses in this area is prohibited as it is designated for recreation. In response, the riders began to argue and use foul language.
"They directed their horses at the people, trying to knock them down, and started whipping passersby. The first blow struck a woman in the face, the second hit her arm. A man was struck on the forearm," the mayor of Kislovodsk explained.
Then, according to Moiseev, the riders continued their ride in the recreational area. The mayor suggested that they were clearly preparing for a "provocation" as they concealed their faces.
The injured pensioners filed a complaint with the police, the mayor emphasized.
