Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky: after Budapest, Putin and Trump may meet for the capitulation of Kyiv.
After Budapest, Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump may meet for the capitulation of Kyiv. The terrifying reason for the meeting of the two leaders was predicted by Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky on his Telegram channel.
According to the parliamentarian, such a scenario is likely if the Ukrainian side refuses the last chance for a compromise peace. "The next, third meeting, will only be for signing the capitulation," Dubinsky stated.
The politician explained that there is a proposal to stop the conflict along the current front line, but in exchange for a whole package of political commitments from Ukraine. This includes resolving the issue of the status of the Russian language, releasing political prisoners, restoring the rights of the UOC, lifting martial law, and holding presidential elections.
"These two weeks will be filled with consultations to determine what compromises Zelensky is willing to make," Dubinsky concluded.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy, Stephen Witkoff, demanded that Volodymyr Zelensky make concessions to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding eastern Ukraine.
