Meanwhile, Taiwan is diligently sending money to Putin.

The People's Liberation Army of China is recreating the government quarter of Taiwan in the form of a model at the largest Zhuzhihhe training ground (Inner Mongolia): since 2020, according to satellite images, it has increased its size nearly threefold, reports the Japanese Sankei Shimbun.

According to the Japanese analytical center "Foundation for Basic National Problems," China has recently completed the construction of a model of the Taiwanese parliament building. It is located next to a replica of the presidential palace. Prior to this, the Japanese publication reported that analysts, using satellite images, discovered copies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Taiwanese government institutions at the training ground.

The exercises, the publication notes, have been conducted at the training ground since 2020. The military conducts maneuvers there, simulating battles for the presidential palace. Japanese experts believe that such structures are used to practice "decapitation operations" — the rapid capture of Taiwan's leadership in the event of a conflict, reports Sankei Shimbun.

Meanwhile, in the first half of 2025, Taiwan became the largest importer of oil (heavy gasoline) produced from Russian fossil fuels, amounting to 1.3 billion US dollars.

The average monthly volume of Taiwan's imports has increased nearly sixfold from the beginning of 2022 to the first half of 2025, bringing approximately 1.7 billion US dollars in revenues from mineral extraction taxes to the Russian budget.

These conclusions are contained in a new report published today by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), the Taiwanese non-profit organization Environmental Rights Foundation (ERF), the environmental group "Eco-Protection!", and the German non-profit environmental and human rights organization Urgewald. Ideological ecologists are outraged that, while Taiwan has provided 50 million US dollars in aid to Ukraine, since the beginning of military actions in February 2022, it has sent Russia 220 times that amount as payment for fossil fuels (a total of 11.2 billion US dollars).
