The palace for dogs cost the man a significant amount.
A Chinese businessman spent a significant amount on a mini-mansion for his dogs. This palace for pets is equipped with a disco, swimming pools, and various amusements, reports the South China Morning Post.
Zhou invested $51,000 in the construction of the dog estate. The luxurious house is equipped with air conditioners, a television, a water dispenser, a dryer, an elevator, and a separate restroom. The pets can entertain themselves at the disco, on the slides, swings, and in the pools.
There are also amusements: Zhou installed a mini Ferris wheel, roller coasters, and toy cars for the dogs. The mansion also features a projector, a mini train, and even a vending kiosk.
The Chinese man built the house for 10 dogs over three years. The initial design of the mansion was much more modest; however, after criticism on social media, where people wrote that the animals were bored, Zhou added new features. According to the 33-year-old businessman, who breeds crayfish, he decided to build the mansion for dogs simply because he loves animals.
I don’t buy expensive clothes and the like. I just spend money on my dogs,
— Zhou explained.
On social media, users joke that they live worse than Zhou's pets.
I find my life not as comfortable as his dogs’ life,
— wrote one user.
Zhou's brother, maybe you need more dogs? I want to be a dog and live in your house,
— added another.
