If you love working in the garden, dream of your own green oasis on the balcony, or plan more extensive garden improvement projects, take a step towards your dream and visit the Dārzs un dzīvesstils 2026 exhibition at Kipsala on May 9–10. Over the course of two days, you will find a wide range of products — seedlings and seeds, gardening equipment and tools, greenhouses, pergolas, and garden furniture. You will not only be able to purchase everything you need but also consult with landscape architects and other industry specialists.
Diverse Seedlings and Seeds
At Kipsala, visitors will be able to choose from a wide variety of seedlings — flowers, fruit trees, shrubs, ornamental trees, as well as seeds. There will be an opportunity to purchase both popular varieties and rare specimens. Rose seedlings grown in Latvia will be offered by Ilzes rozes and Dailas rozes. By the way, this year Daila Trubinja will also present special "edible" rose varieties, whose petals have a pronounced fruity aroma. The Līga nursery will offer annual and perennial plants and flowers, while Jaunās Čūreikas will delight visitors with popular boxes of herbs that can be conveniently placed on windowsills.
Those looking to harvest a rich crop of tomatoes and perhaps discover new delicious varieties should visit the stand of the amateur gardeners' club Tomāts. Kipsala will also feature carpets made of wildflowers and seedlings of nut trees grown in Latvia. For those more interested in seedlings of fruit trees and berry bushes, the offerings from the Liepas nursery and the gardening station in Pure should be noted. A wide selection of apple, pear, cherry, peach, apricot, black currant, gooseberry, red currant trees, and much more will be presented there.
If you want to grow sweet watermelons, you should visit the Tava Oga stand, where the widest range of watermelon seeds in Latvia will be available. Moreover, these varieties have been tested for suitability for cultivation in our conditions.

For a Rich Harvest
To achieve a rich harvest, considerable effort is required. Plants need both fertilization and pest control. EcoAgroForest will present a novelty at the Dārzs un dzīvesstils 2026 exhibition – natural organo-mineral fertilizers with a high content of lignin and humic substances, and a balanced complex of macro, micro, and secondary elements for all crops and soils AGROVITASIL and BIOMIXSIL. Meanwhile, RK69 will offer a series of moss control products SŪNĀM-STOP, produced in Latvia, which allow for successful and highly effective removal of unwanted vegetation. Trichogramma and goldeneyes for plant protection and pest control in the garden will be available at the Bioefekts stand.
"Living Garden" for Inspiration
This year, the exhibition pavilion will feature a "Living Garden" exhibition, where visitors can learn about the latest trends in garden and landscape design, gain inspiration for garden improvement, and receive valuable advice from experienced specialists. Visitors will be able to consult with landscape architects from Ainavu Studija and ERBE, as well as Ruta Gabranova (GA.RU) and Liene Feldmane regarding their wishes and their implementation. The exhibition will highlight magnolias (15 varieties) and, of course, the large green beauties that leave no one indifferent – bonsai niwaki from the Dārzs zem saules nursery.

Quality Tools
Even the best and most thought-out ideas will be difficult to bring to life without tools, so the exhibition will feature a selection of various gardening tools and equipment, as well as additional accessories. A brand new product this season – ergonomic handles for wheelbarrows iTip, which are especially suitable for elderly people, will be offered by Seši spārni. The Lithuanian company Bono vita will present the best professional solutions from the Japanese brand OREC for mowing tall grass in sunny parks and other challenging areas. They are equipped with a built-in mechanism of side "arms" that ensures effective mowing around obstacles.
For Enjoyable Relaxation
The garden is increasingly becoming a place for relaxation. Therefore, the exhibition will showcase various solutions for landscaping: gazebos, canopies, saunas, baths, garden furniture and decorations, swings, children's playgrounds, as well as grills and fire pits. This will help create a true oasis of relaxation. Goods Steel will offer high-quality, durable, and elegant pergolas and canopies, Rolar will present soft PVC windows produced in Latvia, and Woodoo Haus will showcase individually designed safe, durable, and attractive playgrounds. At Kipsala, unique furniture "grown" in Latvia will also be on display in the only tree shaping garden in Northern Europe, Meža Dizaina Dārzs, as this year the first harvest of furniture – a floor lamp and a chair – is expected.
