Actor Jack Quaid briefly commented on working with Meghan Markle on the new film "Close Personal Friends," where the Duchess of Sussex plays herself.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he did not go into detail about the joint filming, but his reaction was quite emotional.
"It was madness," Quaid admitted, before shifting the conversation to the other participants in the project. "In the main cast — me, Brie Larson, Henry Golding, and Lily Collins. It's just an incredible team that I'm a part of. Every day we came to the set and tried our best to make each other laugh," he added.
Despite the actor's restrained comments, Meghan Markle's participation in the project is already being called a significant event: for her, it is effectively a return to film after a long hiatus.
Earlier, a source at the production company Amazon MGM Studios reported that Markle took a long time to choose offers and settled on this project. "For Meghan, this is an important moment, signifying a return to what she truly loves," the insider noted.
According to him, the actress views her participation in the film as an opportunity to gradually return to filming and assess how comfortable she feels working in the industry again. It is also reported that the project team welcomed her involvement with enthusiasm and is trying to keep details under wraps.
