The pop king shares his concerns about his son's teenage years and his "computer addiction," as well as his children's reluctance to study.
The pop king of the Russian stage, 58-year-old Philipp Kirkorov, shared his concerns about the challenging process of raising his growing children at the premiere of Yulia Zivert's new show "Somewhere in Retro." The artist candidly spoke about his 13-year-old son Martin's "computer addiction" and how neither he nor his 14-year-old daughter Alla-Victoria show much enthusiasm for studying. Kirkorov made it clear: he does not intend to pave the way for his heirs in their careers, believing that his main parental duty is to provide them with a quality education.

Struggle with Gadgets
In his monologue about Martin, Philipp Kirkorov bitterly noted: "Yes, I am upset because, unfortunately, we are living in a time when this computer addiction, games push aside even the desires that the child had: to play football, to engage in basketball, volleyball. Now everything has taken a back seat, and I can’t do anything about it. The only thing is to turn it off, just pull the plug from the computers and force him to go play padel or football. But that’s a last resort: I want him to come to it himself."

Blogger Daughter and Life Priorities
Philipp has a somewhat different attitude towards his daughter Alla-Victoria. Although she, according to him, also often "hangs out" on her phone, Kirkorov has previously noted her desire to develop in the field of blogging. Today, Alla-Victoria actively manages her social media, where she posts funny videos, parodying her famous father. However, despite this, Philipp does not plan to help his children promote their future careers.

The Main Thing — Education
"I’m not going to push anyone: neither into creativity, nor into the stage, nor into cinema. Thank God, they are not eager to be on stage. My job is to give them the most important thing: education. That’s what I owe them first and foremost. A good education. And they have to accept it, even though they don’t want to, they don’t like it, of course. Who likes to study? No one," Philipp candidly stated.
School in Dubai and Bullying
Currently, Kirkorov's children are receiving their education in Dubai. The artist previously faced serious problems when he had to withdraw his children from the prestigious Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai due to bullying. The children were subjected to bullying because of their father's public reputation and his numerous plastic surgeries. Fortunately, after some time, they were able to return to the same school.
