The publishing giant Time Out, known for its lists of the best cities covering everything from trendy streets to culinary destinations, has published its first-ever list of the "best cities" specifically compiled for young people.
Bangkok took first place in the ranking due to its young population, which highly rated it for happiness, accessibility, and as a great place for dating. The capital of Thailand "meets all the criteria of an excellent city: it is famous for its friendliness, rich culture, and iconic landmarks.
Melbourne ranked second in the list for residents under 30. Nearly four out of five young Melburnians described their city as diverse and inclusive, with an impressive 96% rating its arts and culture highly. 9 out of 10 also rated the quality of life in Melbourne as "good" or "amazing."
Completing the top three is Cape Town, South Africa. Zoomers particularly appreciated the beauty of the area — the coastal city is revealed by the breathtaking Table Mountain — and its affordable nightclubs.
