The specifications of the newcomer are already known: a power of 1,400 horsepower and a range of about 640 km.

The world of heavy trucks is changing before our eyes, as trucks that require not a drop of diesel fuel hit the roads. While the famous Tesla Semi is still preparing for mass sales, it has gained a competitor that looks almost the same but is cheaper, writes Forbes.

The China-Europe company Windrose Tech, founded by 35-year-old Wen Han, has introduced the R700 model, which strikingly resembles Musk's development.

The brand's CEO, Wen Han, explained this similarity not as copying but as strict laws of physics.

"Our truck looks very similar to Tesla because that's what aerodynamics dictates," emphasized the head of the company.

The specifications of the newcomer are already known: a power of 1,400 horsepower and a range of about 640 kilometers.

Wen Han emphasizes that the cost of such a vehicle is $300,000, and for the first buyers in California and Texas, there will be a bonus of three months of free charging.

Comparing the competitors, the author notes that the exact price of the Tesla Semi has not yet been officially announced, although experts estimate it to range from $225,000 to $300,000.
