According to climatologists, high concentrations of greenhouse gases continue to heat the World Ocean and the atmosphere. Experts reminded that global warming has already led to alarming consequences, including a record reduction in ice cover in the Arctic. The report notes that these changes will have detrimental effects for hundreds or thousands of years.

The organization also reminded that the last 10 years have been the hottest in history, and over the past 20 years, the ocean has absorbed 18 times more energy than humans. Due to ocean warming, various disasters, including droughts, fires, and floods, are occurring more frequently on Earth.
