The 'Alien Spaceship' Left Strange Gases in the Solar System 0 7

Comet 3I/ATLAS, which some theories suggest is an alien spaceship, left a trail of organic molecules as it passed through the Solar System. This was reported by NASA, citing data from the SPHEREx space mission.

"We are currently observing a typical set of materials, including organic molecules, soot, and rock dust, which are usually ejected by a comet [when it approaches the Sun]," the publication states.

Scientists determined that solar heat melted the ice on the object. After that, a mixture of chemicals began to be released from its surface, creating a gas-dust envelope — a coma. Analysis in 102 infrared bands revealed that the emissions contain compounds characteristic of the early Solar System.
