Digital Chat Station: iPhone 18 Pro Max will last 2 days on a single charge.
The upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max, scheduled for release in the fall, will feature a record battery life of two days. This was reported by MacRumors, citing the well-known insider Digital Chat Station.
The specialist, referring to his own sources in the supply chain, stated that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will have a battery capacity ranging from 5100 to 5200 milliampere-hours. Thus, the battery capacity will be increased by 100-200 milliampere-hours compared to the 17 Pro Max.
The insider noted that the increase in battery size will not be significant. However, he emphasized that the future flagship from Apple will be equipped with the A20 Pro processor, which will stand out for its excellent energy efficiency. As a result, along with the increased battery, the smartphone will receive a significant upgrade in autonomy.
Journalists from MacRumors noted that the current iPhone 17 Pro Max has a battery life of 39 hours according to Apple metrics. They speculated that the battery life of the 18 Pro Max will be no less than two days, which would set a record for the iPhone.
Earlier, sources from ZDNet Korea stated that Apple plans to raise prices for the iPhone due to the rising cost of Korean components.
