Microsoft has promised to fix Windows 11 and regain user trust.
Microsoft has promised to restore user trust in the failed Windows 11. This was reported by The Verge.
In conversations with journalists, company representatives acknowledged numerous problems and malfunctions of the operating system (OS). These issues were linked to updates that were released in early 2026. Microsoft emphasized that they read all feedback and hope to normalize the OS functionality as quickly as possible.
"The feedback we receive from our community of dedicated users and Windows Insider program participants is clear. We need to improve Windows in a way that is meaningful to people," said Pavan Davuluri, president of the Windows division. According to him, the team currently faces three tasks — to improve performance, enhance reliability, and increase user satisfaction.
According to The Verge editor Tom Warren, numerous issues with Windows 11 arose after the January updates were released. He suggested that engineers focused on deploying new features but did not adequately test their functionality.
