The author of the video captured the moment when the machine swayed and fell. Social media users — including those on Reddit — noted that before the fall, the robot raised its mechanical arms above its head.

Media journalists stated that the Optimus robot made a gesture as if trying to remove something from its head, even though there was nothing on it. They speculated that the machine was being remotely controlled by a person who, for unknown reasons, had to take off their VR headset.
