CNMO: Apple has lowered prices on the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, but only in China.
Apple has officially lowered the prices of all flagship smartphones in China. This was noted by the publication CNMO.
At the beginning of December, the American IT giant announced discounts on the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max smartphones. The devices have become cheaper by 300 yuan, or about 3,300 rubles. Journalists emphasized that Apple took this step only in China. Typically, the company maintains prices for gadgets at a consistent level throughout the entire lifecycle of the devices.
With the discounts, the iPhone 17 Pro is priced at 8,699 yuan (95,000 rubles) in the local market, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max is priced at 9,699 yuan (105,000 rubles). The discounts will be valid until December 14. Additionally, prices for Apple smartphones may be lower at third-party Chinese retailers due to various subsidy programs.
CNMO specialists noted that the new Apple smartphones have become very popular in China. They emphasized that if this trend continues, Tim Cook's corporation will achieve record figures in one of its most important markets.
Previously, analysts from the SellCell service stated that the iPhone Air has decreased in price more than other smartphones in the secondary market. The drop in resale price is attributed to the declining popularity of the ultra-thin device.
