The new iPhone Air will be released in the fall of 2026 and will feature a dual camera.
The successor to the iPhone Air will feature a second camera. This was announced by the well-known insider Digital Chat Station on his Weibo blog.
In September, Apple introduced the ultra-thin iPhone Air smartphone for $999 (82,000 rubles). Despite the low sales of the gadget, insider Digital Chat Station is confident that the American company will present the next generation of the device. Unlike the original, it will have a second camera.
The blogger mentioned that the single camera was a weak point of the new device. Therefore, the new iPhone Air, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2026, will have a second camera — also with a resolution of 48 megapixels. According to the disclosed information, the ultra-wide module will be located next to the main lens.
At the same time, Digital Chat Station is convinced that adding a second camera to the Air model without changing the gadget's design is impossible. In this regard, the insider suggested that Apple engineers will have to rethink the smartphone's structure and possibly reduce the phone's battery.
