China plans to land people on the Moon by 2030

China continues to work on issues related to landing taikonauts on the surface of the Moon by 2030. This was stated by the official representative of the China Manned Space Program Zhang Jingbo.

“In terms of addressing issues related to the implementation of the manned lunar program, we are making good progress,” said Jingbo during a recent press conference.

During the conversation with journalists, he mentioned that the work on the initial prototypes of the Chang Zheng-10 (CZ-10) launch vehicle, the Mengzhou spacecraft, the landing and service modules, as well as the lunar rover, which are planned to be used in the lunar mission, has already been completed.

Jingbo also confirmed that the scheduled timeline for landing a person on the surface of our planet's satellite remains unchanged.

Americans plan to fly to the Moon as early as 2026. However, these plans may be postponed by a year or more.
