In GTA VI, in-game messengers, taxi ordering services, and money transfer services have been found.
In the new installment of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game, there will be its own online services — messengers and applications for ordering taxis. This was reported by the publication Notebookcheck.
The new game content was revealed by a reputable insider on the topic of GTA under the nickname Tez2. He stated that GTA VI will feature a very rich virtual world, including its own banks, communication means, and services. The insider shared that the developer Rockstar Games has registered several internet domains, the names of which resemble those of real brands.
For instance, the creators of the game registered the website what-up.app — an analogue of the WhatsApp messenger, rydeme.app — an aggregator for the Uber taxi service, buckme.app — a clone of several popular money transfer services. Other names refer to law firms, escort services, and government agencies.
According to journalists, gamers will be able to use these services and visit their addresses in real life, rather than in the in-game internet. "Rockstar wants GTA VI to feel as realistic as possible, whether it's the physics of water or the everyday life of people," the authors noted.
The release of GTA VI is scheduled for May 26, 2026.
In early September, well-known insider Tom Henderson predicted the inevitable delay of Grand Theft Auto VI. According to the author, Rockstar will postpone the release of the long-awaited game to fall 2026.
Recall that earlier the creator of GTA named the best video game. Thus, co-founder of Rockstar Games Dan Houser called RDR 2 - Red Dead Redemption 2 - his best game.
