Apple will release an affordable iPhone 17e for $599 in early 2026.
Journalists from MacRumors have revealed the specifications of the iPhone 17e. The material is available on the media's website.
Experts from the portal referred to insiders who believe that Apple will release the iPhone 17e in the first quarter of 2026. This will be the cheapest of the new brand smartphones — like the iPhone 16e, it will be priced at $599.
The affordable device is expected to feature the same processor as the iPhone 17 — the A19. It will also have a 16-core Apple Neural Engine coprocessor. The design of the device will not change significantly compared to the 16e: the next-generation gadget will come with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and a screen cutout.
The 16e model was released in February 2025. The device replaced the iPhone SE, featuring a 6.1-inch OLED screen, an A18 chip, 8 gigabytes of RAM, a single 48-megapixel camera, and a 4005 milliamp-hour battery.
