Horror: Apple headphone users heard a whistle in their ears 0 35

The first owners of Apple AirPods Pro 3 have complained about unusual sounds. This was noted by the publication Cult of Mac.

The Pro 3 headphones were announced on September 9 and went on sale by mid-month. Complaints about the headset's performance appeared on Apple and Reddit forums. People began to report that they hear extraneous sounds while using the device — hissing or whistling. Some compare the interference to high-frequency noise that appears and disappears.

"I constantly hear this piercing whistle that is just unbearable," said Reddit user snuggly-Totoro. Another user, going by the name ads3500, reported that only the right earbud broke. As a result, the user was able to return the device under warranty.

"The problem doesn't seem to be widespread, but enough new owners are reporting it, which raises questions," commented the authors of Cult of Mac on the issue. According to the journalists, consumers mainly complain about the new headset, although they have encountered users with first and second generation AirPods Pro.
