The Mexican actress needs the love of the audience.
Victoria Ruffo remains a distant star for her fans, living apart from other guests and participants of the film festival, not mingling with the crowd, but she did visit Krasnaya Polyana. This is related to her special status. Victoria is the wife of the Mexican ambassador to Norway, Omar Fayad Meneses. In general, she turned out to be more than just Maria. Ruffo continues her acting career, appearing in series, working on television and in theater.
"Every time I come to your country, and I have been here more than once, I feel strong emotions. I know that I am loved in Russia. I feel very good here. Your attention touches my heart. Your love and recognition are a great gift for me that I will never forget. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with wonderful people beyond language and cultural barriers. The greatest happiness for an artist is the love of the audience, and I feel it in Russia," said the actress. She learned a few Russian words: "thank you," "good," "goodbye," flashed by like a comet, and was gone. We did not learn anything new about her.
In her first marriage, the actress was with actor Eugenio Derbez. The young people met during the filming of the series "Just Maria," where Victoria played the lead role, and Eugenio visited his mother, who played the role of Doña Mati. In April 1992, they had a son — Jose Eduardo. The marriage lasted until 1996.
In 2001, she married Mexican politician Omar Fayad, and in August 2004, she gave birth to twins — Victoria and Anuar. This forced Victoria to leave her acting career for a long time.
