Ukrainian national team and British Chelsea player Mykhailo Mudryk has been suspended for 4 years for doping, journalist Ben Jacobs reported.
The CAS statement notes that the Ukrainian footballer has appealed the four-year suspension, with both parties exchanging written statements, and the hearing date has not yet been set.
In December 2024, Chelsea confirmed that a banned substance was found in Mudryk's doping sample. According to media reports, meldonium was detected in the player's A sample. The footballer claimed that he never knowingly took banned substances.
The Football Association (FA) temporarily suspended Mudryk from football while the club and player awaited the results of the B sample doping test. In June 2025, an FA representative confirmed that the player had been charged.
