At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Ukrainian athletes returned without medals. This is the third such case in Ukraine's history.
Previously, such an anti-record was set in 2002 and 2010. However, unlike this year's Games, Ukrainian athletes at least placed fifth back then. At this Olympics, the best result was sixth place in team freestyle and in the relay for luge.
Overall, Ukraine has 9 medals in the history of the Winter Olympics, of which 3 are gold.
The gold medals for Ukraine were won by: Oksana Baiul (figure skating, Olympics 1994), Vita Semerenko, Yulia Jim, Valya Semerenko, Elena Pidhrushna (biathlon, relay, Olympics 2014), Alexander Abromenko (freestyle, ski acrobatics, Olympics 2018).
Silver medals were won by: Elena Petrova (biathlon, individual race, Olympics 1998), Alexander Abromenko (freestyle, ski acrobatics, Olympics 2022).
Bronze medals were earned by: Valentina Tserbe-Nesina (biathlon, sprint, Olympics 1994), Lilia Yefremova (biathlon, sprint, Olympics 2006), Elena Grushina and Ruslan Goncharov (figure skating, Olympics 2006), Vita Semerenko (biathlon, sprint, Olympics 2014).
