Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has won the Australian Open for the first time in his career.
Alcaraz has won titles at all four Grand Slam tournaments and, at the age of 22 years and 272 days, became the youngest holder of the 'Career Grand Slam' in men's singles history.
He surpassed the record set by Don Budge in 1938, when he was 22 years and 363 days old. In the Open Era (since 1968), Rafael Nadal was the youngest to achieve the 'Career Grand Slam' at 24 years old.
Alcaraz now has seven Grand Slam tournament victories. Previously, he won the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open twice each.
